Common Measurements Tool (CMT)
The Common Measurements Tool (CMT) is a survey tool developed in Canada and available for New Zealand State Services/Agencies to use in order to measure and analyse the satisfaction of their users. The CMT is adaptable to suit the requirements of a particular state service/agency, as long as it follows the specific guidelines and methodologies as set out by the State Services Commission (SSC) in agreement with the CMT license. The Survey Company can support a State Service or Agency in the implementation, running, reporting, and analysis of the CMT
- The Survey Company is able to provide support to those who are eligible to use the common measurements tool (CMT) (see: State Services Commission CMT page). We can assist with implementation, running, collating, reporting, and analysis of the survey, including providing a full length written report.
- The reporting and analysis will provide specific information in regards to specific areas and priorities for improvement (PFI)
- The CMT has been specifically designed for measuring the drivers of satisfaction of New Zealand citizens in relation to the public services
- The CMT has been specifically modified to fit with NZ society and traditions
- The CMT is comprised of 8 core questions and a bank of numerous other questions that are available to adapt the survey to meet the needs of the particular state service
